I'm hurt that so many people so quickly would try to brand me into an image that is so... I don't even have a word. Please don't be too quick to judge, because no matter what I have good intentions.

It was a stupid remark, but I didn't post it publically. I posted it within an entry, teasing with someone I have held a couple conversations with, not meant to hurt anyone or be part of "sad, confused" rant. I loved the seniors, hung out with them before my school year even started, performed with them, got to know them faster than most people as I got the opportunity to hang out with them in NY. As I responded right away when I found out my comment had been seen by more than the one pair of eyes I had meant for it to be seen by:

Sorry, I know that a lot of the senior class really cared about the school and were good. However, within the class itself there were issues that stretched back to mistakes that the admin made that ended up in a senior year where little to nothing was done. I firmly respect everyone who did do what they could to help the school out, and I'm sorry I generalized over all of those people.

Sorry again, Amelia

aww, it makes me feel all warm and squishy inside to know that you're sorry about this comment you made where you basically called us all slacker idiots who just stood in the way of you guys making the school a better place. i'm so glad you told us all it was just meant to "tease" a friend and that we weren't meant to see it.

golly, that just makes me feel grand.

what is it? "every joke has a grain of truth in it" or something like that.

Hey, as they say: Good intentions go bad in Africa.
...and we all know what happened to Africa.

within an entry or not,

I know your sorry. Thats what you are, sorry. Our senior year hasn't even started and your already becoming what you said to have "hated". I hope you realize that this isn't the first time you've shown these qualities of elitism, and uppity bullshit. Its sad your really making me dread our up coming year, I have a feeling your going to be very disappointed.

Dude! She was kidding when she said class of '06 or whatever. KIDDING.

*cries* Why must the hatred start during the summer?

usually when people are kidding they don't defend themselves by trying to rationalize their comments with projecting the blame. "the class had issues that lead back to the administration..blah blah blah." its bullshit.
its not even just about the comments, this whole group needs to step back and quit pretending to be so heightened than everyone else. its not respectful.
(you're missing out on relationships with amazing people when you do that)

Well, AAW, you haven't gotten rid of all the seniors! I'm coming back to volunteer. Hope nobody minds. There were plenty of seniors who wanted the best for our school. Every class has it's problems, but I loved my class, and I'm proud to have graduated with such lovely people.

If it wasn't for the seniors, AAW would have been very different ... they founded the school. The Class of '05 was not perfect (who is?), but all of us truly respected our art, and worked endless hours to improve at them.

I believe Amelia is sorry. It's not fair to gang up on her. Everyone says things they don't mean sometimes.
